Terms & Conditions

Booking and receiving a confirmation email constitutes acceptance of these terms. These terms and conditions are available on our website, in reception and can also be emailed.

Boarding:
Whilst every care and precaution is taken during board, all animals are boarded at the owners own risk. Any Veterinary and transport fees are to be covered by the owner, unless Kembroke Kennels is at fault.

Check in/out:
Please note that your pet is your responsibility until a member of staff has taken them from you following the ‘checking in’ process at reception.

All dogs must be restraint on a suitable secure lead or harness. Please note this is the customers responsibility to make sure all collars, leads & harness’ are fitted correctly. Cats will not be accepted for boarding unless contained within a suitable, secure carry box.

Food:
Good quality balanced dry/wet food is supplied within the cost of boarding. If your dog or cat has a special diet or you would prefer them to stay on their own diet you are welcome to supply it. However we will not be able to offer a discount for this. Please clearly label food and amount. If specific weight is needed please portioned out into daily meals and labelled correctly. Our Raw food will incur a extra charge per day.

Belongings:
You are more than welcome to bring your pets bedding and/or toys; however, these are all left at the owners own risk.

Vaccinations:
All animals must be fully vaccinated and up to date. Vaccination certificates must be presented with each animal and will be kept on file during their stay. If certificate is not presented you will be turned away.

Medication:
If your dog or cat is on any medication it must be supplied when your dog arrives with clear written instructions of dose and any special requirements. Administering medication is done at no extra cost to the owners.

Payment:
Full payment must be made upon collection. A full day’s board is charged for the days of arrival and departure. No reduction will be offered for early collection.

Deposit:
A £20 non-refundable deposit taken at time of booking. Day stays will need to be paid in full. Cancellation within 48 hours of your booking or no show will incur A payment of 50% of your original booking fee including any extras. Failure to pay within 7 days will result in you being unable to book with us in the future.

Non-Collection:
Kembroke Kennels reserves the right to re-home any animal not collected within 14 days of stated departure date. If no communication from the owner is received, and if efforts to contact the owner fail, the animal will be re-homed. If the owner does collect the animal during the 14 days, any extra days will be charged for in full.

Pet Collection & Drop Off Service:
This service is offered during our opening hours at a requested time. An additional charge of £20.00 each way will be added to the final bill.

One on one walking:
Dogs will be taken off site, we will attach an AirTag (tracking device) while on their walk. If we feel your dog is too strong or unpredictable we will abstain and refund any walks not taken. All walks are subject to availability. Any walks not taken will not be charged. Each walk is charged at £10.00.

Paddock for Paws:
Dogs will be taken into our secure dog walking field and have off lead play with a member of our staff. AirTag (tracking device) will be attached. This is subject to availability.

Heating/Fans:
Heating/cooling is seasonal and used at Kembroke Kennels Ltd discretion, heating/cooling is charged by the day and will be added on to your final bill.

Christmas, Boxing Day and New Years Day Charges:
All customers will be charged double fees on these days, we are closed to the public on these days.

Bank holidays:
We are opening 9:30-10:30, any pick ups after this will incur a fee.

Medical issue or illness:
In an emergency or illness Kembroke Kennels will attempt to contact you. If we cannot make contact we will let the vet decide what is the best treatment for your dog/cat. Costs are the owners responsibility. There will also be an added vet transport cost.

Client Data:
Client data will be treated in accordance to the data protection principles of the Data Protection Act and in accordance with GDPR and will not be shared with 3rd parties. Your dog may be photographed before, during and after their stay/groom. Photographs may be used on our website, social media or other printed materials.

Value Added Tax:
All prices quoted and charged include VAT at the current rate. All bookings are subject to Kembroke Kennel’s Terms and Conditions.
